GONE IN 60 SECONDS (2000) Reviewed by mike_young they have to steal 50 cars to save his brother's life. the first 49 thefts don't even feature a car chase. the final car chase sucks anyway because you can't even tell what's going on because the x-treme editing pretty much destroys any chance of continuity or momentum. the big final "stunt" isn't even a real stunt, it's corny video-editing special effects. all-out sucks. the only reason i don't give it one star is that they smash a truck through a cement wall with a wrecking ball (although you can see it in the trailer for free). |
