EVIL DEAD Reviewed by mike_young low-budget movie about a guy and his buddies getting abused by a haunted cabin in the woods. unlike the sequel, evil dead 2, this one is rather slow, quiet, and at times genuinely creepy. good stuff all around, this one focuses more on setting a mood while the sequel hits you over the head with action. |
