3 EXTREMES Reviewed by bonnie banks In the first short caper 'Dumplings' a former tv actress wants to gether looks back. She goes to Aunt Mei who makes special recipedumplings. I saw it coming from the first time the word meat came up.It's probably true, fetus helps wrinkles and the broken leg sex life.Great ideas in this short that I'm sure the population will embrace at30 trillion. Reminded me of an Argento film, but without theextra disposable half hour of nonsense and filler crudola. Thisdirector/main charactor is too nice, so an oaf tortures him by riggingup his wife to a piano, strung to different points on the room and hasher superglued to the keys. Her fingers/piano passion digits, will becut off one by one unless...he gets evil quick. An excuse for sadisticshort film. The director attempts to appease the torturer with a fartat one point. Other than that honk, there are sounds in this moviethat made me apeshit my dance pants. Clong and brrruoing. Nice!'Box' is Miike making a pretty film. Two sisters are contortionists,one gets a piece of jewelry making the other jealous (all in blue andorange). Uh, theres dreams and a box. I fell asleep I think.
