FARM, THE: LIFE IN THE ANGOLA PRISON
Reviewed by bonnie banks

Hey guess what?!! Slaves still exist in the south, put a black in jail and have a slave for life working the fields at this old cotton slave hq. Angola. Named after the Angola slaves that used to live there. There's interviews with inmates on good behavior who are screwed by the courts. Good account a guy goes up for parole and is denied after a short conversation between the judges : "he's lying it's obvious, he had years to make up that story... he's lying". It's harsh, death row white guy goes to the pearly gates, ignorant? ya dont have a chance. Poor? you're screwed.
